Service Description

We have two prenatal visits where we review the details of your birth plan, review comfort measures and coping techniques, and answer any last-minute questions. From this discussion, we develop your personalized birth plan. We are on-call 24/7 beginning at 37 weeks. Once labor begins, we support you at home, the hospital or a birthing center throughout the birthing process. We utilize our expertise to help support you both physically and emotionally as well as provide any information and resources you may need as the birth unfolds. After the birth, we remain with you for up to 2 hours to help insure a smooth transition into postpartum. We ensure that you are fed, comfortable, and your questions have been answered. If desired, we also offer help with initial newborn feeding.
